Ear Training: Major Sixth

The next note is the major sixth. This completes our first scale: the major pentatonic. This is probably the most common scale, and it is known all over the world, so it should sound familiar.

As always, learn the new note in separation first. To find it, you can use simple melodic movements as described in the last chapter. After that, improvise with the whole scale.
