You can string together any of these fragments. For example, the first three note fragment played in a sequence from each tone of a scale would look like this:

Practice various fragments on various scales in all keys. You can also play a fragment while ascending and its inversion while descending, combine fragments to make a bigger fragment or alternate between two fragments.
